The expansion of the Europoort High-Voltage Substation required a reliable solution to seal multiple high-voltage cables routed through a single wall penetration. The system had to provide a watertight seal while accommodating different cable diameters.
A modular IBMO cable sealing system was selected, allowing multiple cables to be sealed within a single penetration. Each cable is sealed individually, creating a durable, fully watertight seal while making optimal use of the available space.
The solution provides a safe, reliable, and watertight cable penetration that meets the required standards for durability and performance. By accommodating multiple cables in a single seal, an efficient and future-proof installation was achieved.
